Fostering new business leaders in the IT Business

Recently some IT related topics have gained wide attention from the public including Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data. Based on these trends, KAIST Information Media Program has attracted many applicants with it aim to foster business leaders with an emphasis in information technology.

 

KAIST Information Media Master’s Program provides specialized courses from professors who hold strong expertise and backgrounds in the IT business. They provide courses including IT Management, Network & High tech Industry, as well as others. These courses reflect the state-of-the-art technology trends involving the Internet of Things, Big Data, Business Analytics, and Design Thinking.

 

The Optimal Program for IT-related Careers

KAIST Information Media Master’s Program offers classes every Wednesday (19:00 – 22:00) and Saturday. The part-time program enables students to take courses by maintaining their career positions simultaneously, so it a perfect fit for the people who hope for a promotion or a position upgrade.

 

Moreover, the curriculum focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge in the IT business, where one can strengthen one’s knowledge and core competence through IT related subjects. A world-renowned business school evaluation organization called Eduniversal recently announced ‘The Best 4000 Masters and MBA Programs’. Notably, KAIST Information Media Master’s Program ranked No. 2 in terms of Information System Management in East Asia. The evaluations were based on a number of criteria including employment records and student satisfaction, as well as other things.

 

KAIST Information Media Master’s Program offers students a one week international field trip in order to help them enhance their global mindset. In summer, students visit world-renowned institutions and they also take courses in IT Business and Business Analytics.

 

Indeed, this year students will visit Stanford University Design School to learn the design thinking process. Also, students will take special lectures at UC Irvine and visit a number of companies in the Silicon Valley including Google and SAP.
