KAIST Center for Science-based Entrepreneurship held ‘Sharing Industry-specific MEGA TRENDs and In-house Entrepreneurship Education Forum’2017-03-28Hit:871

On February 16, KAIST Center for Science-based Entrepreneurship (CSE), which plans to promote Korea’s future growth by cultivating entrepreneurship and fostering entrepreneurs, successfully held the Sharing Industry-specific MEGA TRENDs and In-house Entrepreneur Networking Forum at D. Camp, where a total of 120 people attended.

 

This forum was designed for potential in-house entrepreneurs and college students interested in mega-trends that are important in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.

 

In this forum, Professor Yang, Tae-yong, the head of CSE and the first Dean of the Graduate School of Information and Technology Management at KAIST, and Professor Jeon Seon-gon (KAIST) gave lectures on the importance of in-house entrepreneurs. Coauthors of a book on bio-healthcare trends published by Mega Trend Lab, Professor Park, Yong-Deok (Dankook University Dental Hospital), Lee, Woo-young (Yonsei University-Industry Collaboration), Kwon, Tae-hyuk (Korea Health Industry Development Institute) discussed the forecasts of the bio-healthcare industry.

 

In addition, Mr. Lee Bo-Ram, a product planner (MD) of a famous global luxury company, made a presentation on the luxury goods industry’s move in response to the changes in the buying trends of consumers.  In addition, Kim, Jin-hwan (SK Networks Women’s Apparel Product Planning) made a presentation on future fashion trends.

 

Professor Yang, Tae Yong (KAIST) said, in his keynote speech, “The development of entrepreneurship and the unique and creative ideas of the young generation can create a breakthrough for overcoming the long-term economic recession that Korea is currently facing.”

 
Also, he emphasized about the importance of the role of the older generation by saying, “In order to create such a foundation, members of the older generation need to unite and create an environment where the younger generation can spread their will.”
