KAIST-TSINGHWA-KEIO MBA students study Chinese Innovative Corporations2014-07-10Hit:5506

 

KAIST College of Business announced that it will collaborate with Tsinghua School of Economics and Management (SEM) and Keio Business School to conduct joint research with regard to Chinese innovative corporations.

The joint research is part of the China, Korea and Japan (CKJ) Global Business Strategy Field Trip Curriculum. CKJ Workshop was initiated by Tsinghua SEM, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) College of Business, and Keio Business School in 2012. It aims to promote academic exchanges among three schools.

Every year one of the three schools hosts the workshop in turn. In 2012 and last year, Keio Business School and KAIST College of Business hosted the workshop focused on the subjects of the Food Industry in Japan and the Entertainment Industry in Korea. This year, Tsinghua SEM invited professors and students form KAIST and Keio and the will conduct joint research on the subject of ‘Chinese Innovative Corporations.’

Thirty-six MBA students from the three schools will analyze issues of Chinese innovative corporations and provide consulting on them. The list of Chinese firms includes Baidu, China Postal Express & Logistics, ACL (Airport City Development Co, Ltd), Jingdong, and Qunar. Especially, Baidu is one of the Top 100 Innovative Companies listed by Forbes, and China Postal Express & Logistics is the largest logistics company in China.
