Track

SCM

With the purpose of maximizing the corporate value, this track examines and develops corporate strategy and management theory through integrated analysis on technology innovation and production capability.

The three major research fields are (1) Technology Management, (2) Production Management, and (3) Integrated Research. Technology Management covers areas such as technology innovation and corporate strategy, establishment and practice of technology strategy, development of corporate innovation capacity, research management, etc. Production Management covers areas such as production strategy, production organization planning and operation, quality management, production innovation strategy, supply chain network management, etc. Integrated Research such as new product management attempts to consolidate areas of technology and production managements.

Marketing

This track offers professional marketing knowledge and the ability to put it into practice. In particular, it focuses on fostering the ability to objectively deal with data through the use of quantitative analysis and a number of case studies. Further, it aims to nurture marketing professionals that will meet the demand of the present society through helping students establish theoretical and practical competence in the field of Customer Behavior, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Hi-Tech Management.

Accounting

This track highlights on corporate accounting and how can accounting system place impact on the corporate value and capital market in general. Further, it helps students acquire effective and efficient decision-making techniques by exposing them to the implications of decision-making process by the executives and policy-makers.

This track focuses on understanding the various factors in financial management and studies on the structure of the capital and the variety of means to procure it. Also, it examines on the financial institutions, finance product analysis, capital management, and risk management.

IT Management

Information Technology (IT) is becoming a foundation for enabling a variety of corporate strategies. With the purpose of realizing corporate competitiveness, this track focuses on enhancing corporate strategies through the maximization of value chain efficiency, which bases itself on the wire/ wireless Information & Communication Network and IT. Another focus is on cultivating competent professionals that are equipped with the ability to analyze and generate new products and business opportunities. Through an optimized mix of theory and practice, this track aims to lead the new e-Business paradigm.

Strategic Management& Organization

The core of this track lies in cultivating highly-skilled professionals capable of comprehensively employing their overall knowledge of business administration (including marketing, finance, production, accounting, IT, etc) in establishing short- and long-term corporate strategies. For this reason, it places emphasis on the correlation and integration of management across many fields rather than delving into one specific field. Also, it conducts comprehensive study on the organizational structure and transition management within a corporate. Further, it aims to foster competent specialists of the future in the field of corporate strategy, management consulting, and corporate analysis & assessment by developing students’ ability to systematically comprehend the globally competitive corporate strategies; and the impact of strategic decision-making on the future corporate value.

Global

The requirement for Techno-MBA Global concentration is to take 21 credits of the Techno-MBA mandatory courses (including Mandatory General) in English. The rest of the elective courses can be taken either in Korean or English. Upon successful completion of the 54 credit graduation requirement, an MBA degree is conferred along with a Certificate of Global Concentration. Dual-degree participants will also be conferred with a Certificate of Global Concentration on their graduation upon request.

Green Management

This track provides the opportunity to enhance understanding on Green Management on the basis of basic management skills and knowledge.
