KAIST, 1st in Asia for 3 Straight Years... Strong Alumni Network2015-05-09Hit:3130

Native MBA is emerging!

The MBA programs in KAIST College of Business, established in 1995 as Korea’s first full-time MBA, leads the nation’s business education on the basis of a world-class infrastructure. Furthermore, it has positioned itself as the representative MBA, leading the education of all-around intellects.

One of the key feature of KAIST MBA is that it puts emphasis on pragmatic academics in which analytical and problem solving methodologies are underlined. It has been approved by authoritative institutions such as AACSB, GMAC, and EQUIS and has established a solid foothold as a global college of business by joining PIM (Partnership in International Management) in 2013, the first school in Korea to do so. Moreover, it is Korea’s first MBA course to enter the Financial Times’ ‘Top 100 Global MBAs’ and has been ranked first in Asia in the ‘Executive Education Ranking’ for three straight years since 2012.

The strong alumni network is one of the many merits of KAIST MBA. It has turned out more than 5,900 graduates in 19 years. The graduates have worked their way up to promising positions and consistently interact and share information.

KAIST MBA is focusing on providing students with an optimal environment for academics and research. It provides individual research space (Labs) to all the enrolled students. Labs are available 24 hours a day, and create a synergy effect since the students’, professors’ and researchers’ labs are clustered.

Moreover, KAIST is striving to invest in foreign students as well as sending KAIST students abroad through collaboration with renowned foreign universities. It is also providing global leadership program courses in which students are granted opportunities to experience various cultures. In the case of the Graduate School of Finance, students mandatorily have to take courses for a semester in affiliated universities and work on projects and case studies with MBA students from these schools.
