SK-KAIST Social Entrepreneurship MBA Students visit the UK2016-08-31Hit:1278

SK Happiness Foundation announced that KAIST Social Entrepreneurship (SE) MBA students will visit Sheffield University in the UK on August, 11th.

The program aims to provide students with opportunities for hands-on experiences by meeting social entrepreneurs in the UK aligned with “Social Enterprise Accelerator Program” of Sheffield University.

Notably, the city, Sheffield experienced a recession of its coal mining industry which resulted from the economic slide. The city transformed itself and made a breakthrough via cooperative associations, and many social entrepreneurs played a key role in regenerating the city. 

KAIST SE MBA students will visit some notable places in Sheffield for learn first-hand how to operate social enterprises successfully.

Mr. Kim (Director of SK Happiness Foundation) said, “We expect our students to gain inspiration from the social entrepreneurs in the UK, which has a long tradition and history in running social enterprises.”

KAIST SE MBA is the first full-time MBA program in the world to educate social entrepreneurs by solving social issues through innovative business models.
