KAIST College of Business, which opened the first full-time MBA program in Korea in 1995, has earned a reputation as a cradle of venture start-ups. KCB has helped more than 320 entrepreneurs over the past 20 years.

The `KAIST College of Business Entrepreneurial Alumni Invitation Night` event is an event designed to encourage entrepreneurs who wish to start a business and to create a culture to promote entrepreneurship. This event is expected to further strengthen the network between founding alumni.

Participants ranked 'networking' as most useful for participating in the event, followed by `getting information and sharing`. In addition, most of the participants attended the meeting to find a promising investment company and meet with business partners to form a network with alumni and entrepreneurs.

The event started at 5 pm and lasted for 4 hours until 9 pm. In Part 1, the founder of Brewguru, a health drink company, shared the story of his entrepreneurship. Subsequently, Park Dong-moon introduced a "Private Tax Start-up Scholarship", which will be run with donations made for students who are preparing to start a business. In the second part, dinner was served, and networking time between the start-up alumni and the students took place. The third part, 'Alumni Entrepreneurs' Night, was an opportunity to exchange various information such as introducing the founders of the alumni association and sharing the current status of major universities related to start-up.

Young-bae Kim, Dean of KAIST College of Business, said, "KAIST College of Business has a rich network of alumni founders such as Cyworld and I Love School entrepreneurs who stimulated the first venture boom in the late 90's. Through this event, I hope that they provide useful information to entrepreneurs who will lead the second and third venture boom. "

In addition, KAIST College of Business is actively promoting the establishment of business culture and expanding networking for start-ups. The KAIST Social Entrepreneur MBA, sponsored by the SK Happiness Sharing Foundation, successfully held a `Social Venture Boosting Day` for young social venture start-ups on the 8th.
