Dear Members of KAIST College of Business

As we enter the 10th consecutive days after shifting to offline education, I want to thank all of you for your flexibility and understanding during such difficult and rapidly changing times.

COVID-19 remains in our community which has created deep emotion and hardships that are impacting our lives and will continue to influence us moving forward.
We are still vulnerable to infection when witnessing high number of Itaewon confirmed cases and school seniors returning back to school.

KCB has been thoroughly preparing to prevent the disease on campus.
Countless efforts such as building disinfection, getting ready for sanitizers, thermometer camera setting, temperature check, and social distancing within the lecture venue cannot be negligible.

However, we cannot underestimate continuing health threat posed by COVID-19.
Considering contingencies and to prevent any outbreak in advance, you are required to wear facial mask all the time even during lecture or walking along the building.
Please be assured that we have no option but to shift to online operations again when there is at least one confirmed case in our campus.
It is crucial to practice social distancing actively and avoid any crowded places.

Please remember that any members who may have suspected symptoms should take work-at-home environment or participate online education instead.
Your sincere input and care for safe campus is truly needed.
Be part of our KAIST family and help us to prevent the spread of COVID-19 altogether!

Keep your healthy life style and stay well to fight on.

Youngbae Kim
Dean of KAIST College of Business
