Professor Soonhoon Bae has been appointed to a representative of Global Consumer Advisory Board (GCAB) announced by AMD, a global supplier of integrated circuits for the personal and networked computers and communication markets. The AMD announced that Professor Bae was granted a membership to represent Korea in respect to his expertise and professional achievements in computing technology. The GCAB was formed by AMD to evaluate and improve the quality of the home and small business computing technology experience. The GCAB is consisted of 14 members, who are Leading consumer and small business advocates from Asia, Europe, North America and South America and will identify to resolve key challenges in computing technology facing home and small business users. Graduated from MIT, Professor Bae currently serves as a visiting professor and held a vast professional experiences, including Minister of Information and Communication and CEO of Daewoo Electronics Co.
