Hanwha offers one billion won to twenty environmental-friendly social ..2013-06-27Hit:4272

On June 2nd Hanwha Group has offered one billion won to twenty environmental-friendly social enterprises, and declared that it will do business for mutual prosperity with the social enterprises.

For that purpose, Hanwha Group held two workshops with forty executives from the social enterprises, holding ceremony for donating the funds. The events were called ‘Support Business for Environmental-Friendly Social Enterprises from Hanwha 2013’ in Olympic Parktel, Bangi-dong, Seoul on May 31th and June 1st.

In the workshop, ten experts including 장대철, a professor of KAIST College of Business, gave each of the twenty corporations expert advice on setting business goals and developing business plans. The ten experts will provide professional advice for one year.

강기수, the public relations chief of Hanwha Group, said, “Although social enterprises provide a critical model for realizing several social goals including job creation, they do not have enough human and material resources. That is the reason we have started to support such enterprises for improving the business environment.”
