Here is the notice for the schedule and procedure for Fall semester of 2026 dormitory application and assignment as below.
Please note this notice for applying for the dormitory.

[Important] For the fall semester, dormitory rooms will be assigned in the following order of priority international students, residents of non-capital regions, and residents of the Seoul metropolitan area.
Any remaining rooms will be allocated to students residing in Seoul through a public lottery. (The schedule for the public lottery for Seoul residents will be announced individually at a later date only to those who have applied.)
In addition, students selected for the dormitory will receive separate individual  notices regarding fee payment and room assignment. Please submit your application form via email at atelier@kaist.ac.kr. 
Do NOT click "Apply for Dormitory" on the main KAIST Dormitory website. (Doing so may result in deposit payments and penalties associated with the Daejeon campus dormitories.)
