On December 23, 2016, KAIST College of Business opened a new multicultural space on the 3rd floor of #9 Building for the international students. We have operated a multicultural space since last year and recently moved to a new room which is more spacious and comfortable.
The primary purpose of the multicultural space is to provide a clean and cozy room for meditation and prayer for foreign students. It will offer a spiritually nourishing environment for international students from different religious backgrounds.
The new space, a 19 square meter carpeted room, is equipped with tables and bookshelves so that students may use it as a meeting room as well.
We are expecting the students to lead spiritually rich lives, and this new space will be helpful in that endeavor.
Student comments on the Multicultural Space:
“My opinion about the new cultural room, is that it is much more spacious than the previous one.
So I can feel a lot more comfortable in it with my friends.” (Daniela, FMBA 2015)
“The souvenirs from all over the world are well organized and look very good. I really like the multicultural space and will visit for the pray, too. ” (Merema, FMBA 2015)
