Dual Degree Programs

To give our students more opportunities in maintaining an international constitution, the KAIST Graduate School of Finance & Accounting (KGSFA) initiated dual degree programs in 2007 with the Bayes Business School at the City University London. In 2008, Michigan State University was added to our listing. We will continue to expand our students' international exposure. In the forthcoming years, we expect more schools to be added.

Application period for the Dual Degree program is same as KGSFA's 'Global Study Program' which commonly done during the summer of the 1st year.

Depending on the school choice of the 'Dual Degree' program, students choose their 2nd semester's courses to fulfill prerequisite requirements of their choice of schools.

City University of London, Bayes Business School

Located in the heart of London, Bayes Business School offers opportunities to experience the capital’s academic, cultural, and business life. As the gateway to one of the world's most dynamic financial and commercial centers, Bayes realizes a fundamental belief that business is both a practical and theoretical discipline. Students remain for Period Two and Period Three and complete ten courses. Or the students may take six courses and write a thesis to get a MSc Degree at Bayes.

Possible degrees students can receive are: MSc in Quantitative Finance, MSc in Investment Management, and MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance.

English requirements are IELTS 7.0 or above with writing section no less than 6.5.

Also one must not have 'F' grade in the 1st year of study at the KAIST.

Michigan State University, Eli Broad School of Business

As a member of the Big Ten Schools, Michigan State University (MSU) offers a wide choice of activities and interdisciplinary opportunities.

A Student seeking a dual degree with MSU must meet the admission requirements. Students will enter in January and are expected to finish the MSF degree in either 8 or 12 months. During this period, students are expected to earn a minimum of 30 credits, among which 9 credits may be transferred from KAIST Graduate School of Finance.

University of Maryland, Smith School of Business

Located in College park, just outside Washington, The University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

UMD offers two premier finance master’s programs- the Master in Finance and the Master in Quantitative Finance. The MFIN program is for those interested in careers in corporate finance, asset management, risk management, and valuation.

Student seeking a dual degree with UMD must meet the admission requirements. Students will enter in January and are expected to finish the MSF degree in twelve months. During this period, students are expected to earn a minimum of 30 credits
