SK Happiness Foundation is publishing a series of books called ‘Social Entrepreneur Business Model’ in cooperation with SK Center for Social Entrepreneurship and MYSC, a social innovation consulting group.

The series consists of four books which allows the readers to learn the flow of the social entrepreneur business model; from the social entrepreneur mind.  Social entrepreneurship is rising up as an alternative to 21st century capitalism, and it is impacting investment towards social ventures to change the flow of money.

To support the KAIST Social Entrepreneurship MBA course, SK Center for Social Entrepreneurship is publishing this series based on the accumulated education contents, research progress regarding social economics, information on social innovation entrepreneurs’ management issues and their capability.

In ‘Social economic prospects and opportunities’, the social entrepreneurship mind, history of social enterprises, social benefits, together with impact investment are introduced to investigate the future of the social economy and its opportunities.

In ‘Social Issue Analysis and Plan Exploration I, II’, social issues are analyzed and information on the focal content regarding the social mission establishment stage is included; it is expected to become essential reading for people who are interested in social entrepreneurship and solutions to social issues.

The series will be distributed to the major libraries and social enterprise related institutes.

“There has been much interest and social investment in social enterprises, especially by the young people. Yet, the lack of experience and data makes it hard to discuss solutions to social problems.” said Mr. Lee Byung Tae , the head of SK Center for Social Entrepreneurship. “Moreover, this series is published to support the intellectual research which seeks solution to the most fundamental questions”.

Meanwhile, ‘SK Center for Social Entrepreneurship’, established to support the KAIST Social Entrepreneurship MBA course, provides various start-up support programs to strengthen the students’ ability and allow them to prepare their studies and start-ups simultaneously.
