KAIST College of Business (KCB) held its commencement ceremony on February 20th, 2016 in the Auditorium Building. KAIST Graduate School of Finance (KGSF) had 16 international students among the graduates. To congratulate them and celebrate their commitments during their two years of studying in KAIST, their families, friends, faculty, and staff gathered.

KGSF offered a special farewell event for the Third KOICA Group on March 17th in a cafe near the school. The faculty and juniors attended the event as well. At the beginning of the event, KOICA Chair Professor Joo-Hoon Kim presented awards to all participants after delivering a short speech:

“Eighteen months have already passed since you joined KAIST. Time passes really fast. Congratulations on your completion of the requirements for the Finance MBA at KGSF! You overcame many difficulties wisely and you are here today. I would like to remind you that to be more educated means to take more responsibility for other people. I wish you every success in your new life and I want you to be a proud member of KAIST alumni!”

It was a meaningful time for all the participants, especially for the graduate students, before going back to their home countries. During the farewell event, the participants had a photo session and they wrote some short messages for their friends and shared memories each other.

After the graduation and the farewell, the members of the KOICA Group went back to their home counties and returned to their affiliate institutions, which include the Central Banks, Ministries of Finance and The National Treasuries, among other organizations in 13 countries.
