One of the best ways to understand the concept of team and cohesion is through sports. Victory is just the result of the degree of group unity and solidity.

Thanks to the Student Council, KAIST College of Business students participated in one of the most challenging and enjoyable events organized. With the arrival of students from different departments of KCB, including KOICA and international students, Seojong Culture & Sports Park was transform in a little Olympia with different competitions and events designed to challenge and bring out the best of the athletes.

First, the students were divided in two teams, Pikachu (yellow team) and Squirtle (blue team). Right after some encouraging words from the Dean of KCB, the Sport’s Day began with the traditional Korean warm-up. Later, the students could enjoy playing soccer, dodge ball, basketball, and other mini games, which proved the skills and abilities of the competitors. After each game, the winners received pokeballs that included numbers to participate in a lottery with incredible prizes.  

In the afternoon, the most important and decisive games to determine the winning team started. The tug-of-war proved the strength and the strategy of the teams. However, group unity was the key that allowed the blue team to take the lead in the scoreboard. Nevertheless, the speed and the predetermination of the yellow team allowed them to win the relay race and with this, get the highest score proclaiming them as the winner team.

With the satisfaction of have given their best, and with the happiness of have created good friendships, the lottery closed this event with prizes for all the participants. Temur Malik, from the KOICA program, won the first prize in the lottery and had the fortune of taking home the prize. This was how another amazing day for KCB students finished, as always, with memories and experiences that KAIST was able to offer.
