Emeritus Professor at KAIST College of Business is appointed as a chair professor at Konkuk University
Konkuk University President Jinkyu Kim announced that Dongwan Cha, former Dean of the Graduate School of Information & Media Management and now Emeritus Professor at KAIST College of Business, was appointed as Chair Professor of the Department of Information and Communications at Konkuk University. Professor Cha received his doctorate at Northwestern University, and he has been one of the leaders of KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) since the 1970s. He has been a professor at the KAIST Graduate School of Management, Chairman of the Korean Society of Management Science, and Director of KAIST Communications Business Policy Research Center. He is recognized as one of the greatest scholars, and he introduced fusion programs that combine information and communication technology, management and media for the first time in Korea.
