Goh, Jae-Ho, President of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd, receives ‘The Alumnus of the Year Award’ from KAIST Business School

On November 30, 2012, KAIST Business School announced that Goh, Jae-Ho, President of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd, was selected as the recipient of ‘The Alumnus of the Year Award’.

After joining Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd in 1980, President Goh was promoted to CEO of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. While he studied as an Executive MBA student at KAIST Business school, one of his reports was published in ‘Harvard Business Review’.

Lee, Byung-Tae, Dean of KAIST Business School, said “President Goh was so passionate about study that every Friday he flew from Geojedo, where his company is located, to Seoul in order to attend class. We select him as the recipient of ‘The Alumnus of the Year Award’ since he is a great example of enthusiasm for study, career achievement, and love for KAIST.” The awards ceremony will be held in the "Homecoming Day" event at KAIST Seoul campus.
