류승룡, 김남주, and 2NE1 are ranked No.1 as the most influential people in Korea.

On April 4, 2013, Information Media Research Center in KAIST College of Business published a report, “Power Entertainer in Korea 2013”, which measures the influence of entertainers including actors, singers, and broadcasters.

This report makes the list, based on popularity polls and medium/long-term box office records in each area including movies, music, and soap operas. The popularity survey polled nearly 1300 people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s.

In movies, 류승룡, who took the role of 용구 in ‘The Give from Room 7’ (7번방의 선물)’, is ranked No.1 on the list of influential people. In a soap operas, 김남주, who starred in ‘My Husband Has a Family (넝쿨째 굴러온 당신)’, is ranked No. 1 because ‘넝쿨째 굴러온 당신’ ranked No.2 overall on the TV rating and No.20 in popularity polls. In music, 2NE1, a Korean girl band, is ranked No.1 on the list of influential people in 2013 Korea.
