Minhi Hahn (photo), Professor at KAIST College of Business, received the 22nd Sangnam Business Administration Award by the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration. The Korean Academic Society of Business Administration has been giving the Sangnam Business Administration Award to a selected scholar every year to provide encouragement and to advance Korean business administration. Professor Hahn has been focusing on the effects of marketing communication on consumer choices, and has been doing research on a marketing paradigm to increase consumer happiness through marketing transactions, as well as a paradigm of choice to reduce consumer regret.
Professor Hahn has been an advisor for 21 PhD students and 203 Masters students, and he has published 51 articles in Korean and international business journals. He served as Dean of KAIST College of Business and President of the Korean Marketing Association and the Korean Society of Consumer Studies. Currently, he is a member of the strategy committee at National Sun-Yatsen University Business School in Taiwan.
Professor Han said, “I will continue to work on behalf of many people who are advancing Korean business administration. I will do my best to support and help young academics continue their meaningful research.”
The awards ceremony will take place on the 23rd at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul.
