KAIST Graduate School of Finance holds China Finance Security Market P..2009-11-06Hit:2541

KAIST Graduate School of Finance holds the China Finance Security Market Prospect Forum at the Hilton Hotel in Seoul on June 2, 2008. The forum focuses on the present and future prospects of the financial market of China. This forum is a collaborated effort of KAIST and Daewoo Securities. It begins with a keynote speech by Professor Kyu Sung Lee, a faculty of the KAIST Graduate School of Finance and a former Minister of Finance and Economy. Then the forum follows with four more speeches and several debates.

Highly renowned figures of the Chinese government and noteworthy representatives from the financial, economic, and academic industries attend the forum. They are Liyang, head of CASS finance research institution; Gengxiao, head of Tsinghua-Brookings public policy research institution; and Woo Xiao Qiu, head of Ren Min University of China finance security research institution. These keynote speakers give in-depth analyzes and provide outlooks of the general finance security market beginning with a macro prospect of the Chinese finance security market to the most recent hot issue of the Chinese fund and Chinese financial reformation.

Dean of KAIST Graduate School of Finance Kooyul Jung said, "For Korea to grow and become the financial hub of East Asia, not only does Korea’s financial market need to be analyzed, but also China’s economy because it is closely linked to the world financial market. Such efforts must be done continuously by the academic circle and the government companies in order to strengthen the company and government’s financial policy."
