The Secret to Enter the Top 100 Global MBA: Tailored Curriculum & Strict School Administration



“Now it is the times of science and technology that change the world. One of the reasons that MBAs at MIT and UST become the world-best MBA programs is that they could achieve the balance of technology and management. Making the best use of the scientific and technological resources, KAIST business school will also be one of the top MBA schools.” said Dean Byungtae Lee.

Besides scientific and technological resources, Dean Lee pointed out experience on fostering good students, various educational programs and strict school administration as strong points of KAIST business school.

KAIST business school offers tailored curriculums such as Finance MBA, Information Media MBA and etc. “Since industrial focus has been shifting from conventional manufacturing to service business consisting of financial business, healthcare, entertainment, and so on, competitiveness of business school nurturing the right people for the change is going to improve.” said Dean Lee.

Scholastic outperformance coming from strict school administration is also a strong point of KAIST business school. KAIST MBA provides any students who want facilities with research laboratories and dormitories, which operates system for 24-hour intensified study. Dean Lee emphasized, “Thanks to our school’s reputation for earnest students, more than 40 percent of whole students are funded by companies.”

KAIST MBA is ranked 99th in the world in ‘Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2011’. “Although MBAs in Korea is not as good as world-best MBAs in international faculty rates, international students rates, and international mobility rates, KAIST MBA’s main features such as the quality of education and employment rates can match those of world-best MBAs. Actual competitiveness of KAIST MBA is in the global top 50.” said Dean Lee.
