Investment Seminar on Sustainable Development Projects at KAIST

KAIST announced that ‘EEWS Business planning competition’ award winner 4 teams in Conference Room on the 1st Floor of 1 Building at KAIST Seoul campus at 3 pm on Jan 6th, 2012 and Investment Conference will also be held.

EEWS means a research project being developed by KAIST in order to solve global issues mankind faces in the 21st century such as energy depletion, environmental contamination, the lack of water, and sustainability.

Four teams receive awards: "green hydrogen fuel-cell business" proposed by Mechanical Engineering Professor Jungmyeon Bae (the green business sector Prize), and ‘High refractive heatproof HYBRIMER LED encapsulant" proposed by Material Science and Engineering professor Byeongsu Bae (green technology sector Prize), and so on.

On the day of Investment Seminar, the winners will explain proposed green business planning and green technology to venture capital companies and institutional investors

All 13 companies will participate as investors: Coolidge Corner Investments, Daedeok Investment, KPM, Locus Capital Partners, Bokwang venture capital, Samsung C&T Corporation, Cheil Industries Inc, Dasan Networks, and Hanwha L & C.
