Overview
Joo Hun Han is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management (with tenure) at the KAIST Business School at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and has previously served on the faculty of Rutgers University. His research examines the intersections among human resource practices, leadership, and business strategy, focusing on their combined effects on workforce and firm outcomes. His work has appeared in premier academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Organization Science.

He has received several prestigious awards from the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Association for Korean Management Scholars, and Maekyung Media Group, among others. Also, his work has been funded by leading research institutions and business organizations, such as Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing, Computershare Inc., and Morgan Stanely.
